We are excited to announce that Becky Wilson has been retained as your Community Engagement Specialist. Plan to see and hear more from her soon in her efforts to help you create and expand community partnerships with an eye on sustainability and community engagement. Many of you may know Becky from her most recent post as the Mazama Region Supervisor for the ASPIRE
Program, a position she held since April 2007.
As GEAR UP Coordinator for Chiloquin Jr. Sr. High School from 2003-2005,
Becky worked with staff, students and community members to implement and
sustain programs and activities designed to increase Chiloquin’s college-going
rate. Becky also served as an AmeriCorps
member in the ASPIRE program at CHS for 2 years and provided marketing consulting
services to non-profit clients in Klamath County since 2006. She has served on the Western Oregon
University High School Advisory Board, the Klamath County Chamber of Commerce
Board of Directors.
