Announcing Summer Student Leadership Events

 
GEAR UP is hosting three Student Leadership Events this summer, August 11-13, 2015 at Oregon State University in Corvallis. The three camps, which will be run simultaneously, will be for rising 7th and 8th graders, rising 9th and 10th graders, and rising 11th and 12th graders. The events will begin after lunch on day one and adjourn early afternoon on day three. GEAR UP will provide lodging in the dorms, meals in the dining hall (dinner on day one – lunch on day three), and event facilitation. We’ll have more details regarding the number of students each cluster can register in the near future. Schools are responsible for providing transportation to/from the event, chaperones, chaperone stipends if necessary, and others costs associated with the event.  If you need to change your plan to include the camp and necessary budget items, send Susie an e-mail.
