Tracker's Cost Share Tip of the Day


Exciting news – 6th grade students can now be uploaded to the events and cost share tracker and added to events! You may also view any students that are in the database who have graduated, and add grads to past events. Now is a great time to check the list of students in the tracker and make sure it is updated. The list should be updated at the beginning of the school year, and at any time during the school year if there are changes. You may add students individually (changes will be made immediately) or upload a file of students at one time (the database developer will email you once the changes are made, and let you know if there are any questions). Date of Birth is a required field, and you will not be able to add or edit students in the database without providing a DOB. Also, please remember to inactivate students who are no longer attending your school. You can re-activate them at a later date if the student attends the school again.

On a related note, please update the wage rates for your employees and volunteers at the beginning of the school year, and at any time during the school year if there are changes. The new wage rate becomes effective the day you enter the wage rate. After you enter a new wage rate, you can edit the start and end dates to accurately reflect the dates the rate is effective. Make sure the dates don’t overlap, or you may see duplicate names in list of individuals when you are entering your cost share.
