Register for the Statewide Meeting!

The GEAR UP Statewide Winter Meeting will be held Friday, February 1, 2013 at Lane Community College in Eugene. We will begin at 8:00 with a continental breakfast and registration and adjourn at 3:30. GEAR UP will provide breakfast, lunch, lodging the night of January 31, and substitute costs. There will be time for small group discussions and learning from other clusters, as well as time for principals to meet with Jerry and the guys from EPI. • Who should attend? GEAR UP coordinators, principals, community outreach/engagement personnel, GEAR UP team members
• Homework: Each cluster should come prepared to give a quick (2-3) description of ONE innovative idea or approach that everyone should hear about. This could be something you have tried, or have learned about and want to try.
• If you request lodging, GEAR UP will make reservations for you at the Holiday Inn Express. People from the same school will be roomed together where possible. Please let us know any hotel room cancellations as soon as possible, or you may be charged a no-show fee (equal to the cost of the room). If you need to cancel the day of check-in, please call the hotel directly before 6pm, at 541-342-1243.
