La Pine Professional Development School Visit

The administrators and staff at La Pine Middle and High Schools have offered to open their doors on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 and share promising practices around their student and teacher engagement efforts. As a result of these efforts their schools have improved test scores, student participation and success, as well as created an overall positive school climate. 

GEAR UP schools are invited to bring a team of 2-4, to include an administrator, lead teacher, and others who may benefit from this visit. Visitors will hear from school administrators, teachers, and students about topics such as teacher and student engagement, a certified evaluation system, math and reading labs, writing across the curriculum, and tutorial schedules.
