Next week is National GEAR UP Week! 9/10-9/14

Get involved in sharing the successes of GEAR UP at your school with students, parents, local newspapers, and your elected officials.

Here's what we're asking you to do:

• Contact your elected official and your local newspaper and let them know that GEAR UP works! This can be a phone call, Facebook post, letter, or more. 
• Involve students with GEAR UP Week activities. Students can get involved in advocacy by writing postcards (these will be arriving at your doorstep soon) - send them yourself or send them to Dana Beck, Oregon GEAR UP, PO Box 3175, Eugene, OR 97403-0175
• Tell us about what you're doing! Send photos or quotes (or post them to our Facebook page).
