This regional conference is a great way to get a taste of what types of programs and activities work in promoting college access to students and parents. We’ll be having a coordinator meeting on Tuesday, October 23 during the last breakout session of the GEAR UP West conference, from 1:45-3. GEAR UP will cover early bird registration and lodging for two people per cluster. Please share hotel rooms (two people/room) whenever possible. Rooms are going quickly, so be sure to reserve ASAP. If you present, GEAR UP will cover travel as well.
The registration form is available online: http://www.gearup.wa.gov/files/RegistrationPacket_FORM.pdf Please submit your registration forms to the GEAR UP office by September 28 to get the early bird rate. We will mail in all of the forms at once, along with payment. To book your room, go to the GEAR UP West conference page (http://www.gearup.wa.gov/what-we-do/gear-up-west) and click on the hotel link. Please send a copy of your hotel reservation to natalie_toogood@ous.edu and we will submit a credit card authorization to pay for room and tax.
