We are pleased to announce the availability of supplemental matching funds to help pay for student leadership and academic enhancement programs. You may use these funds to provide scholarships that will enable students to attend an existing camp or event or to create your own. We are particularly interested in supporting events that will make some sort of “lasting impact” on students and goes beyond the traditional “motivational speaker.” In other words, something that really engages the students and helps them develop new leadership or academic skills, self-confidence, etc. The funds should be spent before the start of the 2012-13 school year.
Final requests for supplemental matching funds to help pay for student leadership and academic enhancement programs are due May 31. If there are enough funds available we will entertain secondary requests from schools who have already been approved for funding. Please submit your form to anne_stephens@ous.edu.
